Peterborough Ice Kats
Intermediate A Hockey Team captured the Gold Medal
- at the December 4-6, 2009 Whitby Girls Hockey
Tournament.

Summary
Game one was played
against Markham-Stouffville and the Ice Kats recorded
a 2-0 victory. Scoring for Peterborough were Julie
Bryan assisted by Paige Dunford and Tayler Cain and
then Paige Dunford assisted by Nicole Wilkins. Cyndie
Lussier earned the shut-out.
Game two was played against Etobicoke and the Ice Kats
recorded a 3-1 victory. Scoring for Peterborough were
Jen Ayres, Carly Dow and Nicole Wilkins assisted by
Sam Perry.
Game three was played against Whitby and the Ice Kats
recorded a 4-3 victory. Scoring for Peterborough were
Carly Dow assisted by Jen Ayres and Kate Pearce,
Lauren Davis assisted Jen Ayres and Paige Dunford, Jen
Ayres assisted by Jamie Duguay and Nicole Wilkins and
the game winning goal by Julie Bryan assisted by Kate
Pearce and Paige Dunford.
The Championship game was played against the host
Whitby team, and Peterborough prevailed with an
impressive 3-2 victory. Scoring for Peterborough were
Julie Bryan (2) assisted by Jamie Duguay (2), Gina
Maloney (2) and Jamie Duguay assisted by Julie Bryan.
Jess Hill had an excellent game in net.
Also playing for the Ice Kats is Kayla Howard
(forward).
The team's overall record stands at 12 wins, 5 loses
and three ties.
